WHO WE ARE

The Associazione Emiliano Di Nardo was founded in memory of Emiliano Di Nardo — a beloved Italian journalist, a generous soul who never said no to anyone. After a scooter accident that led to 16 months in a coma, Emiliano passed away in January 2019. His family created this association so that his name and spirit would live on — starting from the very place where everything stopped: the San Camillo Hospital in Rome

OUR MISSION

We support the Neonatology and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the San Camillo Hospital in Rome — a place where time moves slowly, and reality is made of incubators, thermal cribs and tiny fighters facing life before it has truly begun.

Our help, without you, remains useless. It is you, with your donation, who makes normality a less distant dream for these children.

We won’t do anything extraordinary; we will simply outsmart death by making sure that Emiliano is here every day, alongside all those tiny newborns who face death before they even have the chance to begin living.

Tireless, always ready with a joke, and uniquely generous: beyond any rhetoric, Emiliano Di Nardo was all of this and much more.

His passion for AS Roma, combined with an extraordinary drive to create, innovate, and imagine, defined who he was. For this reason, he is deeply missed by Roma supporters and by the many sports journalists who had the privilege of knowing him.

It was news no one ever wanted to deliver, concerning a person who was truly exceptional. Genuine authenticity and ambition do not always go hand in hand; these qualities are found together only in extraordinary individuals.

Emiliano was one of them.
